Physician-led ultrasound education in Nova Scotia
NSCEI is being developed as an independent education and research centre focused on practical ultrasound training, point-of-care ultrasound, continuing professional development, and clinical imaging innovation for healthcare professionals across Atlantic Canada.
About the Centre
Nova Scotia Centre for Excellence in Imaging will be a private Nova Scotia corporation based in Bridgewater. The Centre is planned as a physician-led organization providing high-quality ultrasound education, real-time learning, continuing professional development, and research opportunities.
NSCEI will operate with its own ultrasound equipment, supporting independent hands-on training without relying on hospital-owned machines.
